Thru Golf x MSGA: Scholarship Opportunities

Thru Golf is proud to sponsor the Maryland State Golf Association (MSGA) Grant Program, an initiative administered by the MSGA to support promising junior golfers from modest-income households across Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

The program is designed to help talented young golfers access the instruction, competition, and developmental resources needed to continue progressing in the game, with the long-term goal of supporting college golf opportunities and advancement within elite junior pathways, including Team Maryland - the MSGA's premier junior program and part of the USGA's U.S. National Development Program. 

Through Thru Golf's sponsorship, four $5,000 grants will be awarded to help offset expenses related to golf instruction, practice facilities, tournament participation, and equipment. Eligible applicants must be ages 13-18 as of January 1, 2027, and graduating high school (or receiving a GED) in 2026 or later. The MSGA oversees all aspects of the application, review, and award process. Applications will be available on the MSGA website, with grants awarded in late spring 2026.
